I have changed my mind and created a delicious account and it is a very easy wat to capture websites. I still have not been back into the account to see what is looks like now, I just keep tagging sites which are work related and hopefully I will go back in when I want to revisit the information at a later stage. I managed to create a map site to add to my blog but mashups are certainly something I would like to know more about.

I am getting very tired of signing up to new accounts for everything so I decided not to get a delicious account. The idea sounds good but I would rather check my favourites than sign in to something else just to get my favourite websites.

Library Thing

I do like Library Thing. It is a great way to keep a record of the books you have read.

Here is a quote from my youngest daughter (the generation who is leading the WEB 2.0 technology. "No one blogs we just use MySpace or Facebook, Blogging is a waste of time"?
However, I think a blog would be an excellent way to record current practices or document procedures and thoughts for projects. Leaving a record for future library workers could be very helpful.

I have added a utube clip which is dear to the hearts of many SLNSW workers. Coffee helps to get us through the day and can allow us a chance to catch up with many of our coworkers. I nice way to socialise, network and take some time out from our busy day. It's amazing the people you can catch up with while waiting in the queue for your takeaway.
