Google Docs

I am having some trouble with Google docs. I have tried sharing my document a few times but it doesn't seem to work. Help?

Completing Web 2.0

Well I have jsut finished the course with Social Networking and I now have a facebook account and I have poked my only friend. I can see that some of the applications will be very useful for work. Blogging will be a great way for updating procedures and documenting projects. Wiki could also be handy for this. Delicious I am now using all the time. It is very useful and I love RRS feeds and now I know how to add photos to my blog from flickr and I can share my photos with others also using flickr. These are the things I will take away and I will use for various things. I did not like having to sign in to new sites for new appllications and I keep losing my way and don't know where I am. Overall a bit confusing but very enjoyable. I would have probably preferred a session in a computer lab where I could ask questions and concerntrate on one application at a time. I feel like "I'm a Jack of all trades but master of none."

Inovation

I have changed my mind and created a delicious account and it is a very easy wat to capture websites. I still have not been back into the account to see what is looks like now, I just keep tagging sites which are work related and hopefully I will go back in when I want to revisit the information at a later stage. I managed to create a map site to add to my blog but mashups are certainly something I would like to know more about.

I am getting very tired of signing up to new accounts for everything so I decided not to get a delicious account. The idea sounds good but I would rather check my favourites than sign in to something else just to get my favourite websites.

Library Thing

I do like Library Thing. It is a great way to keep a record of the books you have read.

Here is a quote from my youngest daughter (the generation who is leading the WEB 2.0 technology. "No one blogs we just use MySpace or Facebook, Blogging is a waste of time"?
However, I think a blog would be an excellent way to record current practices or document procedures and thoughts for projects. Leaving a record for future library workers could be very helpful.

I have added a utube clip which is dear to the hearts of many SLNSW workers. Coffee helps to get us through the day and can allow us a chance to catch up with many of our coworkers. I nice way to socialise, network and take some time out from our busy day. It's amazing the people you can catch up with while waiting in the queue for your takeaway.

It's worthwhile reading other peoples blogs RSS feed for restaurant reviews is a great idea

I've managed to add an RSS feed for "At The Movies" onto my Blog and it seems to work

I seem to cope with the wiki and Wikopeadia is definitely a great resource.
I already have a blogline account so adding the powerhose Picture of the day was easy. My favouite bloglines are from the ABC. If I miss the movie show I can catch up on bloglines. It's also a great way to find out what is happening in the news. I have Greater Union, ABC Latest stories, off beat, the north coast where I have relatives and At the movies. I don't always sign in to check them but I know its there and its a fast and easy way to catch up.

I still cannot figure out how to edit my blog. I have two empty pages where I was trying to add pictures from flickr before we had the instructions. I would like to delete these. Can anyone help?

Valuing People

Thanks for the email. It seems a bit clearer to add an image from flickr but nevertheless. It's quite complicated and another signon.

After the email about flickr I can now add photos but how do I delete the empty pages on my blog?

I have tried loading a picture form flickr but it doesn't load . Help please

Creating a Blog is not super easy. It needs a good memory, various passwords. I hope I can remember how to get back in?

I tried uploading the image in a bigger size but this didn't work. I had to keep downsizing to get it to work.
